Hi everyone, hope you've had a good week. We have a new challenge today on DU2DS and our theme is stitching which can be real or faux. There's some gorgeous inspiration from my DT friends and I hope you can join us.
I've used my dragonfly digi available here which is coloured with copic markers and cut out with a labels nestability and inked around the edges with tumbled glass distress ink. The background card is Core'dinations which I've embossed with a cuttlebug leaf folder and then sanded back. I added some cricut die cut branches and Viva glass and glitter liner pens to decorate. My stitching is the french knots along the bottom of the blue card, I think you can just about seem them amongst all the glittery stuff :D Have a great weekend!

Hi Chris, Love your card especially those French Knots I haven't done them in years!!! I think it was on Baby Clothes and Ryan turns 9 in 2 Weeks. What a stunning new image Chris - love the rich colours on your card and the embossed background. The little die cut whisps give a real magical feel. Great stitching too!

Absolutely beautiful, Chris! Your coloring of the dragonfly leaves me speechless. I love how you've made it transparent and can "see through" it's wings because the color of the flower is coming through. It looks more like watercolor than Copics...you've got the knack for coloring with Copics. Really, really pretty card. Hugs, Cami
