Hi everyone, hope you had a good weekend. A Chunky ATC to show today for the Katzelkraft blog, Gingersnap Creations monthly colour challenge 'copper, ginger or rust' and also for Simon Says Stamp and Show where the challenge is 'distressing'.
The chunky ATC is made by cutting about 6 (I lost count :)) chipboard pieces with a Sizzix alterations ATC die and gluing them all together and it looks a bit like the metal leafed pages of an old book. The top layers, front and back were cut in card and I used the movers and shapers mini butterflies to die cut into the ATC's, the photo corners are also from the die. The chipboard pieces have been embossed around all the edges with copper embossing powder and I've used a copper pearl pen for the decorative dots. There's some ginger/rust in there too on the distress inked background which also fits in with Gingersnap Creations and Simon Says Stamp challenges. I've decorated the front and the back with the same stamps, colours and pearl pen dots and added gems on one side and pearls on the other and each has a different coloured feather butterfly.
I've used the gorgeous 'Paris KTZ35' text stamp for the inked card under the butterfly die cut and on top the large clock stamp from the 'Hologe' plate
Have a good day today.
