Hi everyone, hope you're all well and here I am posting two days running......whatever next :). At Simon Says Stamp Challenge the theme this week is tape it up with lots of lovely inspiration for using tape and all the different kinds that are popular at the moment. I've used Tim Holtz tissue tape after an unproductive search for masking tape to make my own :D. The tape is on the background of the tag at the bottom and also on the flower. I covered some TH paper with the tape, die cut using the tattered florals die and then layered up three of the flowers with a self adhesive pearl in the middle.
After yesterdays's experiment with honeycomb paper for the pop out heart this time I've used TH's idea to cut it out using the dressform from the sewing die and after cutting the full dress form from TH paper and gluing the honeycomb to it, I inked over all the edges with walnut stain ink. For the tag itself I used My Minds Eye kraft patterned card and washed over and dabbed it with white distress stain. The butterfly has had the same treatment and is die cut using a Memory Box die.

Wow what a lovely tag I love that is has been done using dark colours as sometimes we forget that distressed doesn't mean it has to be dark.
