Hi everyone, hope you're all well and enjoying some fine weather wherever you are. I've been away for a while recharging the batteries which was lovely and came back to demo last Sunday at the Craft Barn Extravaganza which as always was a great and very enjoyable day. It's always special to catch up with everyone and chat whilst demoing to all the lovely ladies who dropped by my table. This time it was topped off by meeting the lovely Gio from the Craft Barn blog DT who came all the way from Italy to demo.
Above is one of the cards I made, I was working with Kaisercraft stamps and they really are gorgeous to stamp with and very reasonably priced too. For this card I've used the cherish collage stamp and the music score background stamp over a distress ink background, I also used one of the butterflies from the butterflies set which is cut out and layered on top. I finished the card with some flowers cut with the tattered florals garlend die by Tim Holtz, some pearl pen pearls and some shabby white embossing powder.
I'm entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge which this week is to be inspired by the letter 's' and my m 's' is the Shabby White embossing powder. The Songbirds Challenge has a theme of 'all creatures great and small' so I'm entering that too.
Hope to catch up with everyone in blogland very soon and I'll be sharing a few more samples soon.
