Craft Stamper Blog - Make it challenge 3

Hi everyone, hope your week is going well. I'm here with my take on Birgit's wonderful embossing technique from the July issue of Craft Stamper magazine for the new Make It challenge on the Craft Stamper Magazine blog. I was very taken with this technique, such a lovely idea and my version uses an artcuts wooden lazer cut heart blank for the base and an artcuts butterfly on top, distress embossing powders a crackle stamp, a Prima stencil, a Sixxix medallion strip die for the medallion, rusty wire, Tim Holtz stickers and a Viva pearl pen.

I've also used some distress paint on the paper for the medallion which I stamped over afterwards with the crackle stamp.

Birgit's techniqe is featured on page 30/31 of the July issue which is available now and I've been very lucky to have my 'make your own stamps' project featured on the cover at the left hand side.

There are three gorgeous stamps to be won from IndigoBlu, lovely incentive to join us in the challenge.:)

Back soon and thanks as always for your lovely comments, I always appreciate them.

I love this magazine and plan to continue my subscription. They are so lucky to have you working with them.
