Red Butterfly

A simple card for an SCS inspiration challenge, the theme being Oriental and the colours turquoise and red. I love these colours together and enjoyed doing this one. I covered the card with Pink Petticoat swirls paper and stuck down a piece of red satin ribbon. Layered another piece of the paper matted on white over the ribbon on dimension tape and then mounted the butterfly which I'd cut with a CB butterfly die from red bazzil card. I also embossed the butterfly with the corresponding butterfly folder, added a body of liquid pearls and smeared with stardust stickles to give a lacquered effect. I stamped the Elzybells sentiment with black versafine ink. TFL.

Back soon,
Chris
