Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge 1 - Sketch

Hi everyone, here we go with Challenge 1 on Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Friday Challenge. Our first challenge is a sketch by me and there's great inspiration from my lovely DT friends so I hope you'll pop over for a look and join us in our first challenge. There's a great prize to be won this week as a little incentive, lovely goodies which you can see in the picture below.

I've used my Tulip Bowl image which I printed onto white card and coloured with markers. To give a bit of vintage feel I sponged all around the tulip bowl with distress inks and I've distressed the edges of all the papers. Used my MS lattice arch punch on the sentiment and centre panel, added a punched flower, Woodware sentiment, some glaze to the pot and some stickles on the tulips. The paper is by Cosmo Cricket. TFL. Wow, love your card! That lattice arch punch is very cool with the pattern paper. You make the whole distressed thing look so good!

I hope your Friday challenge goes well--great prize package. Too bad my printer is not talking to my computer this week or I might get to play along!

About that red striped ribbon. It was from Stampin Up!s holiday mini-catalog 2008. It is one of my favorites, handles like a dream! I went through about 30 yds!! But, unfortunately, I don't know if we'll be able to get it again--darn.

Hi Chris
Thanks for your visit to me & comment on my Card. I may be in awe of a certain Mrs Wiseman's talents but I am equally jaw dropped every time I visit your stunning creations. How you can start with a black ink image on a white bit of paper and end with a beautiful piece of art - Oh I wish I could do half of what you do..............!!!!!!

My neighbor was always looking for the perfect daffodil stamp and could never find it...then I showed her your daffodil image. She wasn't sure about digis because she barely uses a computer...but she went for it and is so pleased! I'm so happy for her! You have lovely images!!!

Can't wait to play along with Dare U!
