BasicGrey Challenges 17 - Sketch

Hi everyone and I hope you're enjoying the Easter break. We're on challenge 17 at BasicGrey Challenges and this week there's a great sketch to follow by our lovely Martine. The girls have come up with some superb cards for inspiration, and there's a great prize from Simon Says Stamp.

I slightly changed the proportions of the sketch to make my oblong card and used the pretty papers from the BG Kimono collection which are my current favourite. The sweet image is by Lili of the Valley and it's water coloured with distress inks, stickled and decorated a bit with a pearl pen at the bottom for flowers. I punched some flowers from glitter card and gave them pearl centres. I also used a Woodware punch for the sentiment strip and some silk ribbon.

I'm entering my card into these challenges:

Stampin for the weekend - Ribbons and bows.
Crafty Creations Challenges - Anything goes
Thank you for visiting and for your lovely comments, enjoy your Saturday.
