BasicGrey Challenges 25 - Stitching / Studio L3 - Compendium of Curiosities challenge 6

Hi everyone, Hope your weekend is off to a good start and you're enjoying some good weather. It's the start of another challenge on BasicGrey Challenges and this time our theme is stitching. My DT friends have made some beautiful cards for inspiration and there's a great prize from our only sponsor 'Simon Says Stamp'. As long as you use something from a BasicGrey Collection on your creationand follow the theme then you'll be entered into the draw, I hope you can join us.

I'm also entering my tag into the Studio L3 Compendium of Curiosities challenge which is already on week six. I wanted to do this from the start :D....... well various reasons why not  mostly to do with not having the right materials :D but this time I do have the materials so I'm very pleased I can join in. The Challenge is multi-media collage on Page 66 of Tim Holtz's 'Compendium of Curiosities' book and basically the challenges are working through every page in the book but not sharing the techniques on the blogs. So my tag uses the multia media technique and the materials I used were BasicGrey Wisteria paper, white card, dusty concorde/antique linen/walnut stain distress ink, Tim Holtz stamps, Sizzix Tim Holtz bird cage and tattered florals dies, crepe paper, book page, grunge paper, fully purple glimmer mist, piercing tool for the stitching element of the BG challenge, brown fine liner, cricut die cut leaf, sizzlets die cut leaves, Viva Decor glitter liner, gems and ribbon. There's a boo boo with the  paper, I wonder if anyone notices because I didn't until I'd uploaded the photo :D

Have a good Saturday and thanks as always for your lovely comments, much appreciated.

Awesome collage work Chris! If you hadn't mentioned the booboo, I'd have never noticed! I am always seeing stuff "after the fact"! so annoying about myself!!! lol It sure doesn't effect my enjoyment of your creation!!! I ♥ it!

Chris, I'm so happy you were able to join in with this week's Compendium of Curiosities challenge, and wow! What a debut! This is absolutely, mind-blowingly gorgeous!

You did a great job with the Multi-Medium technique, and the way you inked this is so far beyond elegant I don't even have the word for it. I don't see a boo boo, I just see stunning!

Thanks so much for sharing this over at the CCC, and I hope we see you again and again!

Hugs,
Linda

Stunningly beautiful tag, Chris! Seeing are through your eyes is amazing what can be done. I love how you used this bird cage die and how you did the crepe paper flowers with that Tattered Flowers die. Everything is so well put together and (sigh) in my favorite colors. If there's a boo-boo, I can't see it, and can only think of it as something creative coming out of it. Beautiful as always. Hugs, Cami
