Hi everyone! Today I have a Christmas tag to show for the Katzelkraft blog and I've been enjoying making tags for my presents this year, I think it makes them much more personal. I started by embossing the tag with a woodgrain texture fade folder and then inking all over it with Antique Linen distress ink, after that I inked over the raised areas with walnut stain distress ink and stamped over with a tree stamp from Arbres 02 plate and snowflakes from Santa KTZ46.
My tree and deer are cut from grunge paper using Sizzix Alterations dies and then inked with distress inks, tea die and walnut stain on the deer, pine needles and walnut stain with black edging on the tree. I stamped over the deer with the tree stamp and the tree with snowflakes stamp using archival ink on the deer and black archival and white acrylic paint on the tree. I also die cut some letters from glitter card and attached these after adding the snow effect and stickles.
I'm entering my tag into Linda's Studio L3 challenge which is currently running two weekly so lots more time to join in :), thanks Linda! At Simon Says Stamp and Show the theme is tags and at SCD it's about snow so I'm entering these too.

Oh my Chris, this tag is amazing with such an incredible attention to detail, I love the gorgeous splash of colour and fab lettering...anyone would be pleased to receive this on their pressie this year :) hope all OK with you...things are a bit mad here with the run up to Christmas but it'll be worth it in the end...hopefully lol! Chris, this tag is absolutely breathtaking! OMgosh, I can't get over how beautiful it is! The double distressed background looks great and the little dee is lovely. And, that tree! That glittery, frosty tree! WOW!
