Hi everyone, I hope you've had a good weekend. Today is my day on the Katzelkraft blog and I've made a tag which I'm also entering into the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge which this week is 'show your ephemera'. I've used the beautiful dragonfly from the Butterflies 04 plate and sentiments from Art Nouveau and Art Deco plates and together with the crackle painted lock and the vintage style dyed lace and ribbon I hope it has the feel of ephemera :).
To create the dragonfly I stamped onto white card, coloured with water colour markers and spritzed with mica mist before drying with a heat gun and cutting out. The tag is embossed with a Cuttlebug stripes embossing folder, inked with distress inks and misted with mica mists. To decorate I added a punched border, ribbons, a grunge paper flower, die cut and crackle painted lock, brads, dyed lace and the sentiments which I cut from two sentiments from the two sets above.

Yes i finally took the plunge and bought the Wacom intuous4 tablet, its great but getting to grips with some of iluustrator really sets it off.
I used utube for my teaching sessions How fab!! i can at least draw over my sketched image now in illustrator, i have only done 2 images so still very very new.
Did you get illustator? the tablet also came with corel sketch but i havent even looked at that.
