Da Vinci Book Box

Hi everyone, I have my day on the Katzelkraft blog today and I've made a book box using the gorgeous Katzelkraft stamps Vinci Vetruve. A gorgeous set, lovely for male themed projects I think. I've followed a wonderful tutorial on how to make this style of box by my Magnolia DT friend Tina and she's made it so easy to follow. Thank you Tina, I loved doing this and see some more being made not too far in the future :).

I'm joining in with the challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show where this week the theme is to use a Tim Holtz technique, I've used wrinkle free distress which can be found on this blog or in his book the Compendium of Curiosities.

Katzelkraft stamps are available exclusively in the UK at The Craft Barn and direct from Katzelkraft stamps in France.

Enjoy your evening :)

Hi Chris! I had a little bit of trouble getting to your blog through the Internet. You might want to check the link. Anyway, I love your piece for the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. Your arty book is wonderful! I love the stamped images. You always have the coolest stamps! :) Your distressing on the cover is so wonderful! I also love the metal corners. And the interior....is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing this lovely piece with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. <3 Candy
