Gorjuss Christmas

Hi everyone, I hope you've had a good week. I have a card to show today using a sweet Gorjuss Girl stamp from the Gorjuss Christmas collection which I've coloured with markers except for her dress which is paper pieced. I've cut the image out (which is all part of the same stamp) and mounted onto my card after a liberal coating of stardust Stickles :). I made the card base using the Sizzix Tim Holtz Baroque die which I cut into a card leaving the fold just inside the edge of the die. The patterned paper background was made by cutting squares from three Craft Creations papers, gluing them onto another piece of card making sure to place them against each other to give a patchwork look. I used a paper piercer and black pen for the faux stitching and stamped the sentiment from the Winter Wonder Gorjuss Stamps set which I then cut into two pieces.

I'm entering my card into Cute Card Thursday where this week the theme is 'Tree-mendous' and DYSU where the theme is 'use your scraps'.

Enjoy your evening.

Gorgeous card, Chris! Wow! So labor intensive with all the cutting and stitching, but it's so worth it to have a result as lovely as this. Love your tree with all the "snow" on it! Too cute and adorable! Hope all is well with you. Life can be too busy sometimes LOL!
