Grungy Monday 31

Hi everyone, I hope you had a good weekend! I'm just scraping in on the Grungy Monday challenge at Studio L3 where this week the challenge is 'Happy Birthday Tim', celebrating Tim Holtz's birthday,  so Happy Birthday Tim, I hope you had a great day..........with some Disney thrown in :).

I used my new favourite of Tim's techniques which he showed us in the 12 tags 2011 of how to make metal look like worn old painted tin. I used the Sizzix Texture Fade embossing folder 'Patchwork' and I'm hoping we're going to get some more of the patchwork style embossing folders so that I can get more practice :). I cut out the king crown piece of the patchwork and mounted it on dimension tape :D, he's the king of distress after all!

Back soon,
