Hi everyone, I hope you've had a good week! I'm very happy to have been invited by the lovely Zoe [ace copic colourer and Magnolia teamie :)] to be a guest this week on Make it Colourful, so thank you Zoe and thank you to the wonderfully talented Make it Colourful design team for making me very welcome.
The challenge is to create blades of grass so I've water coloured a fairy glen full of grasses for the sweet Vixie to sit on her toadstool in. My card is made completely from water colour paper with an extra panel where I stamped and painted Vixie and the mushroom background which I've lifted up on dimension tape. I've continued the scene from the panel onto the card base and just inked around the edge of the panel with some distress ink for a little definition. Vixie and the Whimsical mushroom background are both beautiful quality red rubber stamps and you'll find the links to them below. I was also able to use the gorgeous chipboard butterflies which come from a set of butterflies and leaves, they're very pretty and delicate and I water coloured them and added glossy accents for shine.
I hope you'll pop over to Make it Colourful and join in the challenge if you can and I can tell you that the DT samples will make your eyes pop :D, they're the masters with copics.
Enjoy your day.
