Chez Michelle

Hi everyone, hope you've had a good week. With a focus on London at the moment with the Olympic opening ceremony starting in a few hours I thought I'd share a pen, watercolour and pencil sketch of a little flower shop in the architecture of the railway bridges around Borough Market in Southwark, London. It's a very atmospheric area and Borough Market is full of life and colour. Hope you enjoy the games opening ceremony if you're watching.

Hi Chris!
Oh so beautiful. This must have taken a month of Sundays to do. Doug wanted to know how you did the brick work? He loves art and is quite good at drawing too. I think you painstakingly sat and drew every brick!! Did you do it from memory or take a photo? So many questions.
I have been watching the Olympics. The opening ceremony was quite impressive. Love it. a lot of late nights coming up.
