The Craft Barn blog - Fancy a cuppa?

Hi everyone, hope your week has been good. At the Craft Barn blog all this week we've been taking tea, a good old English custom so I was happy to be joining in on this one.

I've made a card and a little gift bag which could contain someones favourite brand of tea for a quick little gift and decorated them with the gorgeous Crafty Individuals Image sheet ' a nice cup of tea'. I cut out two of the square images and mounted them onto card inked with Distress ink in Salty Ocean. For the backgrounds I used a Crafty Individuals swirl stamp from the CI-351 'Sweet elephants and swirl' set again inked with the blue distress ink.To keep a nice fresh feel to the set I used white card for the card base and to cut out the gift bag with the sizzix alterations Tim Holtz die, the flowers too which are cut with the Fancy Blossom Memory Box die.

The flower die cuts have been shaped with a ball tool and I've made the flower centres with the Marabu relief paste. I made a hole in the top of the gift bag with a cropadile and threaded through the pretty polka dot ribbon to finish off. This was a very quick make all in all, the CI images make for a great last minute gift set.

As it's Friday it's also special offer day on the Craft Barn Website!
