12 Tags of 2013 - April ATC

Hi everyone, I hope your weekend is going well. I've made my ATC for Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2013 and improvised as I went along. I don't have have the metallic distress paints and used a different brand bronze and copper metallic so the effect isn't quite the same, but I enjoyed the patina technique all the same and used broken china and peeled paint distress paints with the metallics to create it.

I did have the stamp this time and I stamped the ATC and then the wing section onto plastic packaging and cut out. I heated the wings a bit to make them curl and applied with strong glue. I also used gave the patina effect to some metal pieces and a plastic number from an alpha parts set.

To finish off I added a bit of vintage photo distress stickles.

I mopped up the leftover mix of paint with a number 5 tag and used the pear stamp from the same Stampers Anonymous Classics set which I highlighted in white.

Enjoy your Saturday.
Chris x
