Hi everyone, hope all is well with you all out there in blogland and it's lovely to be back here with a post after my extended break. It's been some time since I entered a challenge and as I liked the winged things theme of this week's Simon Monday Challenge Blog challenge I decided to enter my tag.
The tags are actually by Artcuts made from Birch ply and have the gorgeous burnt lazer cut edges that I like. I used a large and a smaller tag as the base for apply DecoArt Desert Turquoise acrylic paint through some stencils. I really like the natural colour of the wood under the paint and the great thing is that they can be sanded back if necessary.
The little butterflies and heart are also from Artcuts and these were painted in the same paint then covered in stickles glitter glue. To finish off I added some twine through the holes in the tags and an word sticker.
