Paperbabe Stamps challenge 3 - Flowers

Hi everyone and welcome to challenge 3 at Paperbabe Stamps blog which this time is flowers. You need to use at least one Paperbabe Stamps stamp or digi in order to enter and there's a lovely prize for the winner too.

I created a flower sprig for my card using one of the flowers and one of the leaves from Folk Fabrique and the stem and connecting dot under the flower were created with the wire stamp and a small bauble stamp from Bottle Brush Trees. I always find there's a way to create what I want using small element stamps from various Paperbabe stamp sets. The sentiment is from MayLeeDee.

In order to achieve the graduated colour for the flower heads I first sponged Elderberry Memento Luxe ink directly onto the stamp mainly at the edges with cut and dry foam and then sponged on lilac posies up to and slightly over the Elderberry to give a nice transition.

I edged my flower panel piece with Memento Luxe grey flannel ink and also the card blank, added some die cut honeycomb shapes to the bottom left, the sentiment and then some distress ink spatter from the Tim Holtz diffuser tool. I finished off by adding some clear gems and mounting the flower panel on dimension tape.

Hope you'll join us in the challenge.
