Hi everyone, today’s introduction is detailed at the Paperbabe Stamps blog with fantastic inspiration from Kim and the team.
Tomorrow is the blog hop, I hope you can join us, Kim has a fantastic prize for the winner too
For my make today I’ve used one of the 3/4 pose face stamps and head dies cut out from watercolour paper and a lovely curly hair template.
The clothes using a clothing template are fussy cut from the new patterned paper and the body parts from Kraft card stock.
I used metal brads this time to put the doll together and make her poseable, I like how you get the mannequin effect.
Colouring of the face is with pencil and distress ink, I used black pen all around the hair for depth and also around the body pieces and clothing. I was going for a warmer skin tone hence the Kraft card but I didn’t manage to marry that up with the face colouring, I should have used Kraft card to cut the head as well, so that’s one to try another time.
See you tomorrow for the blog hop!

The colouring of her face is fantastic Chris. The doll part reminds me of the dolls I made when I was a child!! Love her clothes too. Hugs, Carol S.xx
Awesome. What fun. Hugz
Oh Chris she really is most striking, her hairstyle is (at the moment) one of my favourites. All so beautifully coloured and her well fashioned outfit, I love her matching brads. I'd choose it from the high street if aloud out hee hee!! Very beautiful creation Hugs Tracey xx
