Tag 7 - Twelve Tags of Christmas

Hi everyone and here I am with my version of Tag 7 of  Tim's twelve tags of Christmas, late but on the same day as I try to keep up :D! Another beautiful tag today from Tim and he always shares lots of great techniques to try which I love.

I didn't have the glassine paper he used so I used a white glassine bag instead and it worked although by the look of it the kraft glassine is a heavier weight. I was pleased with how it came out, it's a lovely effect which looks much better in real life. The die I used is quite a chunky holly leaf so it's a bit difficult to see the shape but I like it anyway. I didn't have the stamps used so I improvised with other TH Christmas stamps and I hand cut my branch from grunge paper.

Thanks as always for your lovely comments :)

Chris, I love your interpretation of this tag. I have looked at several and yours hooked me. It has a very woodsy-outdoorsy feel to it. Great job.

Love your TT Chris, again I prefer it to the original. Am really into the traditional greens and reds and the holly leaves look amazing-great texture! The rusty bells finish it off to perfection. (I just love those!)

Your interpretation is lovely. I'm especially fond of the analogous color scheme and think the lighter weight wax paper makes lovely leaves (although a bit more challenging to work with, I'm sure).

This is a bomb! This tag looks gorgeous! It is a little bit dark and a little bit gothic but it has so much of a fairy tale in it! Colours are unbelievable! These dark greens and and splash of red berries reminded me of little red riding hood :)
