Paperbabe Stamps Challenge 10 - Masks/Masking

Hi everyone, today is the start of Challenge 10 at Paperbabe Stamps blog and this time the challenge is masks and/or masking so I hope you can join us and you can join in even if you don't have Paperbabe Stamps.

I've used one of my favourite Paperbe sets which is the Doll Face Stamp Set and stamped and pencil coloured the cover of a kraft notebook, I've also sprayed it with matte sealer to protect it when it's in my bag.

The mask I used is 'doilie' by Giovanna for Tando, it's such a pretty pattern and it seemed to be the perfect one to give the impression of a lacy hat. I coloured inside the masked lines with gelatos using my fingers and then went over the masked out lines after the mask was removed with white pen to give the impression of lace (hopefully)!

All of the other colouring of the face and hair is with pencils adding some final details with the white pen over the top of the hair to finish off.

Have a good weekend.

I love it! Such a brilliant idea to put white on the top the stencil. And the face is so sweet!
