Hi everyone, I'm joining in with a couple of challenges I've found this week and sharing an Easter project I've created on Artcuts Easter egg bunting.
I added gesso to the wood eggs and then applied Brusho paints for my background. I've stamped with a Tim Holtz mini blueprints Easter stamp set on the larger eggs using IndigoBlu flitter glue and on all the eggs with a speckle stamp from the Tim Holtz set 'Bitty Grunge' also in flitter glue. I added gold IndigoBlu mega flake over the glue then burnished and removed the excess to leave the lovely gilded stamping. I also added some brown ink over all the eggs with the same speckle stamp as before.
I've used up some of my stash of various prima and other flowers with some gems here and there.
I've made the egg shapes into bunting by threading some seam binding ribbon through the holes in the tops of the eggs and this was coloured with Tumbled Glass distress stain.
So far I've maned to not eat my chocolate Easter egg, if you celebrate Easter how have you managed :-)?
I'm entering my binging into the challenges at That Craft Place - Easter/Spring, Pile it on - Easter/Spring, Crafty Boots - Easter, Artistic Inspirations - Anything goes.
Have a lovely Easter.
