Paperbabe Stamps October Release - Sparkle Bright

Hi everyone, I'm back today with the second introduction of the Paperbabe Stamps October Release and we have the beautiful Christmas Sentiment set 'Sparkle Bright' to showcase today. I love all the little confetti style stamps that are included and can see the larger stamps being perfect for stamping or embossing over pretty watercolour backgrounds that are a popular style at the moment and they'll be great for stamping over gelli printed papers as I've done for my cards and tag.

My first card has a watercolour background created with Brusho paints in Moss Green and Turquoise simply sprinkled onto wet watercolour paper. I placed the Christmas stamp onto an acrylic block and then added the small sentiment underneath before stamping with versamark ink and embossing with silver tinsel embossing powder which has a lovely glitter sparkle in it.

I've finished off by mounting the watercolour card on a white card blank using stix2 double sided adhesive sheet then placed the die cut ornaments cut from Ranger sparkly card and the bows from a previously created gelli plate print. I've also added glitter glue and pearl pen pearls and spent longer waiting for the glue and pearls to dry than to make the entire card so this style will be great for quick multiples.

For the second card and tag I stamped over a gelli plate print paper that I made previously and used the small stars with Luxe inks for stamping. The snowflakes from the set are stamped with versamark and embossed with pink tinsel embossing powder. I added a separate white layer of card so that the large Christmas greeting had impact and I stamped in blue Luxe ink which I quickly heat embossed with transparent detail embossing powder to add some shine and texture. A pink ribbon, pink painted matting layer and an Artcuts inked star finish off the card.

The tag is created in a similar fashion except that this time I used stamp and bond over the blue stamped large greeting and applied glitter. The tag is finished with an Artcuts deer painted with a white wink of stellar pen.

All the stamps will be available to purchase on Saturday and I hope you've enjoyed all the projects from my DT friends. Information about the stamps and links to my team mates can be found on the Paperbabe Stamps blog together with gorgeous inspiration from Kim.

Back soon,

Chris x
