Just Magnolia 14, Sketch Saturday 60, A spoon full of sugar 61

Hi everyone, a card today for three challenges where there's great inspiration from the DT's, Just Magnolia 14 - Buttons, I have three, Sketch Saturday 60 a lovely sketch which I've flipped and A spoon full of sugar - Swirls, I've embossed my card blank with the swirly flowers folder and there are some swirls in the K&Co PP. I've watercolured my image with distress inks and then cut her out and mounted her over the Nestie Labels die cuts. The cream bazzil card blank has been sponged with peeled paint as have all the papers and die cuts. Added some pink ribbon, buttons [thank you Martine :)], a doodlebug rub on and stardust stickles to finish. TFL. Chris x

Sketch Saturday - Sketch # 55

Hi everyone, hope you're off to a good start with the weekend. A card today for Sketch Saturday GDT spot and another wonderful sketch to work with. Thank you ladies for having me on the team for the two weeks, I've really enjoyed it. The image is by my friend Sandra and his her digi image 'Daddy and little one', such a sweet image for Father's day. You may be wondering about the pea green baby suit? Well the green is in the BasicGrey Boxer background paper but that green just kept getting greener and greener :D. I've used kraft coloured card for the blank and other layers in line with the sketch which have been distressed, sponged and then doodled with black and white pens. All the layers are mounted with dimension tape. The image is marker and pencil coloured and the sentiment an outlined rub on. Enjoy your Saturday. Chris x

Snowman on the hill

Hi everyone, a card for Cute Card Thursday where the challenge this week is Christmas Animals and also for Sketch Saturday with a lovely sketch by Gill. The stamps I've used are my Spiral Whisper background design 'Snowman on the Hill' and the adorable Spiral Whisper 'Milly on Reindeer' by the very talented Janet Roberts. Both images are pencil coloured and blended with Sansodor and Milly is cut out and mounted on dimension tape as is the background image panel. I added some flowersoft to Milly's furry jacket, boots and earmuffs, I think this is a great idea, it really does look like fur and I can't remember now who's blog I saw this idea on but thank you very much, it's brilliant. I've also added some cord at the bottom for the strip panel part of the sketch, stickled flowers and sentiment from stash. The paper is Basic Grey 'Figgy Pudding' and everything is matted on red bazzil card. TFL.
Back soon,
Chris
