BasicGrey Challenges 21 - Sketch 6

Morning everyone, I hope you're weekend is off to good start and for those of us in the UK it's a bank holiday so an extra day to enjoy. A new challenge at BasicGrey Challenges starts today and this time we have a great sketch to follow designed by our lovely Martine. Absolutely amazing inspiration again from DT friends, they're all so talented, I hope you'll pop over and have a look and join in if you can. I've used papers from the BasicGrey Green at heart collection with some kraft card and white velvet paper that I've embossed for the corners. Circle is cut out with nesties and my image is a very sweet girl by Hanglar St.Angler stamps water coloured with distress inks and cut out. The decoration is blue tulle ribbon, a wood heart painted with Picket Fence crackle paint then glittered, Viva pearl pen, punched flowers, stickles and paper edges are distressed and inked with distress ink and some white ink. Tilda's presents

Hi everyone, hope your week is going well. Here's Tilda with some presents, she's very cute and I think she'll be great for a lot of cards. I've watercoloured her with distress inks and cut her out then added some stardust stickles here and there. The background layers and card base are cut on the Cricut from an SVG cutting file. I'm going to add some links for these in the resources section of my blog for those who'd like to get the files, hopefully soon. The two larger butterflies are also SVG cutting files and the smaller ones are a Woodware punch. I've used E-line pearls and gems and a pink sparkle gel pen for the butterfly trails. 

I'm entering my card into Cute Card Thursday which this week has a theme of 'no designer paper'.

Tilda and Edwin in Sherwood Forest

Hi everyone, hope you've had a nice Saturday and if you're in the UK some of the gorgeous weather we're having. A card today with Lady Tilda and Sherwood Edwin from the Magnolia Fairytale collection and here they are in Sherwood Forest :D. Tilda and Edwin are masked together and coloured with distress inks then cut out. The background of the card was made using a bare tree cutting file on the Cricut which I sprayed in yellow, green and cappucino glimmer mist so it's lovely and sparkly IRL. I also used the die cut as a mask for the bottom layer and sprayed the glimmer mists through it to get another layer of trees, the die cut was then popped up on dimension foam. At the bottom I've painted on some grass and then die cut some leaves for the trees from Magnolia patterned paper and some butterflies and dragonflies from Cosmo Cricket paper. Finished everything off with some Stardust and Platinum stickles. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks as always for your comments which are very much appreciated.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge 38 - One for the boys

 Hi everyone, a card today for our new challenge on Dare U 2 Digi Stamp where this time our challenge is 'One for the boys'. I hope you can join us and there are some amazing cards from my DT friends as always.

I've used 'tyre tread star' for my 'Father's Day' card. The stars were printed onto linen card and then cut out and mounted onto black card punched with an MS punch and then white linen card base. Sentiment is by Elzybells and I've inked around the edge of the card with distress ink. I'm giving the star image away as a freebie so if you'd like it you can pick it up from here. TFL.

The Craft Barn

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good week. A couple of little 3 x 3 notecards to show today that I made for the Craft Barn using some gorgeous KatzelKraft stamps (Nature plate) and different colour distress inks which I used to randomly colour the solid stamp before stamping them out. The card on the right uses two of the flower stamps cut out and layered and the swirl background stamps and sentiments are from the same plate. TFL and enjoy your evening.

Bubble Tilda

Hi everyone! A card that I'm entering into the Just Magnolia challenge where the theme is 'one for the girls', ABC Challenge and 'unused stash' (that's the background paper) and Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge 'make it dimensional'. I've used the gorgeous Bubble Tilda, I love her flowing hair :) and she's coloured with distress inks then cut out with a nesties label die. I've also used October Afternoon patterned paper, bazzil card which I've embossed with a CB bubbles folder, a heart punch, sheer jewelled ribbon and lots of gems for bubbles. BG 20 - Punch It!

Hi everyone, hope your weekend is off to a good start. It's 'punch it' on BG Challenges this time and there's some wonderful inspiration from my DT friends and a great prize from our sponsor Simon Says Stamp, I hope you can join us.

I've used Crafty Secrets stamps for my card  water coloured with distress inks. The background paper is from the BasicGrey Capella collection and my scalloped edge was punched with a Fiskars scalloped punch. Enjoy your Saturday and TFL.

Hi everyone! Over at the Craft Barn blog we're showing more of the door hangers we altered today. Mine was painted with white acrylic paint, stamped with Paperartsy stamps and then the flowers painted with Worn Lipstick crackle paint and when dry I sponged with dried marigold, worn lipstick and black soot distress ink. I've also used a viva decor pearl pen in black around the flowers, black stickles in the flower centres and glossy accents on the smaller flowers. House Mouse Monday

Hi everyone, a card today for the House Mouse challenge of distressing. I've used the cute teapot house mouse stamp again and coloured it with copic markers this time. The papers are BasicGrey Kioshi and I've used dot embossed green and pink card for the other layers, the pink is distressed with scissors at the edges and all the layers are edged with walnut stain distress ink and some are stickled too. To decorate I've used white flowers highlighted with stickles, white swiss dots ribbon, green gems and a pink sparkle gel pen. I used a previous sketch from Mojo Monday for the layout. Tattered Florals

Morning everyone, hope your weekend is off to a good start. I'm entering my floral canvas into the Cuttlebug Challenge this week where the theme is Mum or someone special and Creative Card Crew, April Showers bring May flowers. I've used the back of the canvas and glittered the inside with Cosmic Shimmer glitter jewels for some sparkle and arranged the flowers made with TH Tattered Floral dies on the frame edge. The canvas is painted with two colours of acrylic paint and stamped with a sentiment and crackle stamps from KatzelKraft stamps. The flower is inked with Barn Door distress ink, overstamped with a music stamp from Crafty Individuals, glittered with Platinum Stickles and I've added a few dots of glossy accents for rain or dew drops. DU2DS 37 - Anything goes

Hi everyone! A new challenge today on DU2DS and some wonderful inspiration from the DT for our 'anything goes' theme, I hope you can join us. 

I've used my 'spring scene' digi which is coloured with copic markers and highlighted with lots of stickles. The patterned paper is doodlebug, sentiment Papermania, Woodware butterfly punches and I've finished off with some tiny gems. Thanks as always for your lovely comments, they're much appreciated.

Fairytale Tilda

Hi everyone, a card today with the sweet Fairytale Tilda which I've made following the lovely sketch at Card Patterns. Tilda is coloured with Distress Inks and I've cut the circular card blank on the cricut and layered with gathered up lilac crepe paper and paper from BasicGrey Kioshi. Decorated with flowers, stickles and tye dyed ribbon. Have a good day.

Hi everyone and I hope your weekend is off to a good start! A nice long holiday weekend for us here in the UK and hopefully the rain will stay off! A photo inspiration challenge on BasicGrey Challenges this time and I've gone for the colours and the hearts.
