Hi everyone. Another tag to show today for Linda's Funkie Junkie 12 tags of Christmas sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique. I've realised today that I have less days to post in time than I have tags so I'll have to do some double posting days before the 17th when it finishes.
I loved Linda's tag for the week 6 challenge and have taken some of the elements used to make mine. Instead of the clock I've used the Tim Holtz Alterations Holly Wreath die which I cut from glitter card, a die cut tree as Linda did and mine is inked and then coated with some aged gold embossing powder and some gold rub 'n' buff. I went with the off centre bow at the top and a mini tag which is cut with DooHickey tea label die. I've also gone with a text style background although instead of a stamping it I've used Tim Holtz Ideology tissue wrap which takes the distress inks really well. The die cut Noel is coloured with Picked Raspberry distress ink as is the bow on the on the wreath and over everything there's embossing powder here and there and highlighting with the gold rub 'n' buff.
Back soon with more tags and some Magnolia cards to be posted as well. Hope your Christmas preparations are going well :).

Wonderful card, love the textures and colours.
Hi Chris, I love the wonderful soft, feminine feel to this stunning tag. The addition of the embossing powder and rub and buff is so pretty, this has to be my favourite of your tags to date for this challenge. Love the picked raspberry Noel too - quite stunning! Hugs, Anne x
love this one chris...I think you are at your best when you use these wild unexpected colors...totally my favorite tag all season.

Seriously the most unique and gorgeous Christmas tag yet! I've been thinking about using pink lately, but you have inspired me to break out of my traditional Christmas color rut! AMAZING work, and the splatters of gold are brilliant here! SO PINNING!!! WOW!
Wow, sensational piece, Chris! Love the pink and all that gold embossing is fantastic! You really have me drooling over this one - very amazing take on tag #6 - thanks so much for sharing with us and good luck on finishing all 12!
Hugs,
Linda
Wow! Chris, I just love that shocking pink and green together, the lovely gold embossing and the pretty little gold tree! this is a coup de coeur for me, it has this French look about it, like made in Paris LOL I love love it ! Hugs.
I love pink and the mixture of colors and textures in this tag is fabulous. I love that the tree is barely visible and noel and the wreath have such vibrant color. Even the ribbon is pretty.
Hugs, Kelly
gorgeous!! Love the colours of this, and your fabulous ribbon detail! hugs Juls
