Alpha Challenge - M with a twist

Hi everyone, hope you had a good weekend. The new letter is up on the Craft Barn Blog's Alpha Challenge with the letter M for this fortnight. There's also a twist this time in that a word between MA and ME has to be used. My chosen word is MEDAL and I've gone with a clean and simple look this time.

I used a gorgeous image from a PaperArtsy Lynne Parella stamp set which I stamped onto tissue paper, coloured from behind with Deco Art acrylic paints and then cut out. I stamped the image again onto the page and then glued the tissue image over the top. I've added a bit of black distress ink marker around the image to anchor it into the page.

There's fantastic inspiration from the DT, Karen has done another recipe which I hope to try out at some point but you'll have to pop over to the Craft Barn Blog to see it :D

Enjoy your day.

Would somebody please tell me where and how you learn to do all this. Your Mr. Medal Man really looks good. I am working on my "M" now.
