Paperbabe Stamps June Release - MDF Portrait Media Blanks

Hi everyone, it's a lovely week of introductions at Paperbabe Stamps blog and it's my day today with Kim's innovative new line of MDF Portrait Media Blanks, I'm showcasing 'Wavy Bunches'. These great kits are easily glued together with ordinary pva glue and each kit comes with comprehensive instructions and they work with Kim's mini face stamps.

As you can see from the kit picture above there are several layers of head and shoulders and hair with two tops in different styles with some insert pieces to give height, a piece that has a hanging hole if you want to put it on the wall and the stand if you want her free standing. Each of the styles you see above is a separate kit.

The MDF is great to colour on, I used a combination of paint and pencils. I coloured all of the face and neck with pencil and stamped the Female Face Mini stamp set and then I painted the top and hair. I used the Butterfly Pieridae stamp set stamped in black Archival ink embellished with white pen. I added dimension to the hair over the top of the paint with ordinary graphite pencil. I've added some pen work on her eyes too.

All the kits will be on sale tomorrow in Paperbabe Stamps shop and there's lots of inspiration from Kim on the Paperbabe Stamps Blog with links to my teamies who are joining in each day.

Thanks for visiting today.

OK WOW!!! The hair is amazing I am loving how the dimension changes, it's like an optical illusion, the contrast of realistic face with drawn hair is FANTASTIC!!! LOVE her! Thank you sweet Chris I'm totally inspired. Biggest HuGs Kim x
