Craft Barn Wishing Well - Shaker Cards

Hi everyone! Another wishing well day at the Craft Barn blog today and this time we're making shaker cards which is a wish granted for Jan who wins a prize for having her question picked and asked the team for ideas of how to make a Christmas Shaker card.  On the Craft Barn Blog there's a great step by step from Michelle with a very clever idea for these and also a step by step from me on how I made the card above together with the materials list and chance to win a prize for leaving a comment.

Enjoy your day and thank you for your lovely comments, I always appreciate them.

The Craft Barn - Wishing Well

Hi again everyone it's the Craft Barn Wishing Well day today and the DT were challenged by Patty to find some creative ways to use die cuts and she also mentioned that she had poinsettia dies. Patty also wins a prize as her question was chosen, congrats Patty!. Ria and Dawn have come up with some lovely ways of using dies and I've followed along with Dawn's idea for embossing a nestability cut out. I've also used the gorgeous Marianne poinsettia dies and a lovely Craft Concept embossing folder. Utee and the melt pot were brought out to make my angel centre piece and other Nestability and Shapeability dies too with Crafty Individuals stamps and image pad. Ria and Dawn's great step by step projects are on the Craft Barn Blog together with our new teamie Isa's gorgeous tag, all the details and materials lists are there too. Thanks for visiting and as always for your lovely comments. Have a great evening!

Craft Barn DT card

Hi everyone, hope you’re all well and had a good day today. It’s the colour theme day on the Craft Barn blog and this time it’s all about yellow. I’m a day late with my post I’ve just realised, so apologies to the CB blog for that! Hope you can pop over and see the gorgeous creations from my DT friends.

I’ve made a tag this time which I sponged with mustard seed and vintage photo distress ink . Over this I stamped one of the flowers from the Abstract set by Personal Impressions several times around the left side with vintage sepia versafine ink and I  added some rock candy, fruit punch  and yellow stickles to the stamping for a bit of sparkle. The gorgeous dragonfly from PaperArtsy Top and Tail 2 was stamped with Stazon timber brown onto acetate and then cut out and glittered with stickles on the underside. To finish off I placed a row of yellow gems along the bottom edge and doodled some dots with a copic clear spica glitter pen. I know yellow isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I love it and it makes me think of spring.

It’s the Craft Barn Spring Mini Fest on Saturday which I’m very much looking forward to and I’ll be demonstrating distress ink water colouring and some very cute stamps :). If you’re in the area and have a chance to pop in it’ll be lovely to say hello. TFL.
