Happy New Year

<KENOX S860  / Samsung S860>

hApPy NeW yEaR everyone! I hope you had a good celebration and I wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2010.

Here’s a new year card which I’m entering into the Cupcake Challenge where the theme is celebration and is back to a more Christmassy looking card after the zingy colours of yesterday. There’s lots of glittery sparkle from the gorgeous background paper which is wrapping paper I saved from one of my presents. I stamped the sweet Jam Tilda and the Magnolia calendar stamp with Memento ink and coloured with copics. I’ve done lots of faux stitching and doodling with white and silver gel pens, cut around Tilda’s legs and then mounted the image panel on dimension tape over the white satin ribbon. There’s lots of silver stickles too dotted around the image. TFL.

Sally-Ann's Cupcake, Grab-A-Doodle-Do

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good weekend. I've made a card for Cupcake craft challenge where this week the challenge is sweets and treats. Sally-Ann's (grab-a-doodle-do) cupcake images were perfect for this, the only problem was deciding which one to use as there are six included in the download and they're all gorgeous! The cupcake is marker coloured and stickled on the icing, added some pink doodled dots, a photo corner cut from bazzil bling and matted on some bright pink bazzil card cut with a square nestie. Don't know who makes the background paper as it's from my scrap folder. Cut the sentiment with Go Create dies from the Milan alphabet (thanks Sandra for putting me right on these!!!). Flowers and gems are from stash and I added a bit more doodling on the centre cream flower and around the edge of the card. TFL.

Back soon,
Chris
