Sweet sitting Tilda

Hi everyone and I hope you've had a good weekend. A card to show today that I made a while ago for a sweet friend using  Magnolia Sitting Tilda and the friend sentiment stamps. She's coloured with distress inks and the card base is die cut using a GoKreate die. I've used Webster's Pages Hollywood paper, hand dyed ribbon, pearl pen, prima flowers and gems.

Challenge #3 at TOMIC blog has started today so if you're a Magnolia lover I hope you'll join us this week and be in with the chance of a lovely gift from Magnolia or a top five mention :).

Enjoy your day!

Texas Tilda

Hi everyone, hope your weekend is off to a good start :). A card to show today which I'm entering into Cute Card Thursday whose them this week is 'let's get krafty', Papertake Weekly where it's 'bloom and grow' and Creative Card Crew with the theme 'cute and girly'.

I die cut my card base with a GoKreate die from kraft card then cut the with the die next size down and used this to stamp and colour Tilda and the cactus with pencils for the CCT element. I added swirl roses that I die cut using a sizzix die for the PPTW element and then decorated with eyelets, twine, punched leaves, pearl pen pearls, rub on letters and black and white gel pen doodling.

Enjoy your Saturday and thank you as always for the lovely comments, I always appreciated them :).

Beautiful Tilda

Hi everyone, I hope you're all well and had a good weekend. A card today using Beautiful Tilda and very aptly named I think because she is and probably my new favourite :D! She's coloured with distress inks, some cobalt blue water colour paint and I've painted a flower scene around her. The card is a gatefold style made from kraft card and die cut using a GoKreate die. The patterned paper is by Magnolia and I die cut the butterfly twice using the gorgeous new DooHickey butterfly, it's a very pretty lacey cut design, the wings and body are separate dies which is great as you can cut the body and the wings in different colours or patterns. I've added lots of pearls using pearl pens and lots of stardust stickles of course :).

I'm entering my card into the Magnolia Down Under Challenge where this week the theme is 'So Krafty' and kraft card has to be used. I'm also entering Paperplay Challenges with a theme of 'show us your style' and distress ink colouring and techniques are my favourites so I think this card fits that. Paper Sundaes has a theme of magical and mythical so I think the card fits that too.

Apologies for not returning comments but we've been away on holiday, hope to catch up soon. Enjoy your evening :)

MDUC Shabby Chic

Hi everyone, hope you've had a good week and thank goodness, it's nearly the weekend :). I'm entering my card today into the MDU Shabby Chic challenge and hopefully I have enough white for it to qualify, well there are lots of light colours anyway :D. I've used the sweet 'Tilda with daffodil' from the new collection and painted her with distress inks. The card has Webster's Pages paper and I cut the Doo Hickey tag from the paper too as I liked the sentiment.

Have a good Friday.

Springtime walk

Hi everyone, hope you're having a good weekend. A card today for two challenges, with a theme of spring time. I've stamped and coloured Tilda with tulips and the little scene is freehand watercoloured and I hope springlike :). Mini Tilda with bouquet is wandering off into the distance, I think she has enough flowers :D

I used dies for the card shape and all the layers, the patterned paper is Webster's Pages. and I dyed the seam binding with distress ink/mica powder mixture and also Ranger Perfect Pearls mist.

Thank you for your lovely comments and enjoy your weekend.

Tilda in the garden

Hi everyone! A card today with Tilda in the garden from the 'So Special' collection and I've water coloured her with distress inks, painted in a garden around her and added sparkle with some stickles glitter glue and a gold pearl pen. I cut out part of the pattern from a piece of Prima Annalee paper which I added top left and also cut some fabric with the Doo  Hickey lace die, coloured it with shimmer mist and attached over the background piece of embossed hearts and shimmer misted white card. Lots of pearl pens around the edges to finish off.

I'm entering my card into Totally Tilda Challenge where the theme this time is 'how does your garden grow'.

I hope you're having a good weekend :D

Ribbon Hair Tilda

Hi everyone, hope you're enjoying the weekend. A card today using the gorgeous new Ribbon Hair Tilda from 'You're so special' collection and I think she's my new favourite Tilda, I love the curly hair. She's coloured with distress inks with lots of stickles added and then cut out with Nestabilities ovals. I've also used a couple of die cut and punched hearts embossed with a hearts embossing folder, a Magnolia Doo Hickey lace die and a pearly heart embellishment. The paper is by Prima and I've added a Prima flower sprayed with mica mist, pearls and ribbons to decorate.

I'm entering my card into this week's Cute Card Thursday challenge where there's a 1,2,3 recipe to follow, I'm gone for one paper, two bows and three hearts for my combo.

Tilda with fir tree

Hi everyone! Another Tilda card today and this is Tilda with fir tree from the Merry Little Christmas collection. She's coloured with distress inks, cut out and layered over some lovely Webster's Pages paper which I've stamped on with the Magnolia trees and the holly swirl stamp. I've die cut some trees from more Webster's paper and added them over the background and then added lots of little glitter card snowflakes, stickles and pearl pen. I've tried to keep this one a bit flatter and I'm also testing the water on Ebay with this one to see if it sells :D

I'm entering this card into Cute Card Thursday 'Blast from the past' challenge and I've chosen challenge 86 glitter me silly, I just wish all the sparkle would show up more on the card photo :)

Have a nice evening.

Wicked

Hi everyone and wishing a very spooky All Hallows Eve :)! Here's Tilda flying off to play her part in Wicked and she's got her green make-up on too :). I painted her with distress inks, cut her out and then placed on top of a distress ink background wash where I've added some building shapes to the bottom. The papers are all by Magnolia and I've die cut the word Wicked with the Tim Holtz Market die and covered it with stickles. The moon is cut with Nestabilities circles and then embossed with a stars embossing folder and I've made a drippy spiders web with stickles too. The papers are distressed with paint and I've used an MS border punch. I followed Heather's sketch for BG challenges this week which I loved and I hope to have my card on for that in the next few days.

I'm entering this card into Magnolia Down Under challenge where the theme is Halloween inspired.
Have a spooky evening!

A winter scene

Hi everyone! Well to go with this chilly weather we're having here at the moment I've got a Christmas card to show today, one which didn't make it into the current issue of Magnolia Ink but others did so I was very happy :D. Tilda is coloured with distress inks, cut out and is sitting on a Melissa Frances carved scroll. The paper is by Websters Pages and I added a square doily, Magnolia clear chandliers for the tree behind her and  another Melissa Frances frame and scroll, snowflakes, lace and flower with pearl brad and lots of stickles. Enjoy your day.

Magnolia autumn swirl

Hi everyone, hope you had a good weekend. A Magnolia card today with an Autumn feel as we're certainly having the weather for it here and using one of the older Magnolia images water coloured with distress inks. The card is a tent shape with an aperture cut using a nestability labels die, the cut Tilda has been attached to a piece of acetate and hung from the inside top of the aperture so she can flutter in the breeze :). I also water coloured the Magnolia large toadstool and leaves images for the border at the bottom. I love the paper which came from the Magnolia shop but unfortunately there was not brand name on it. The punched borders top and bottom are done with a Martha Stewart punch and I've glittered around the leaf, Tilda's wings and the toadstool spots with Star Dust Stickles. Have a good Monday and as always thanks for your comments, I always appreciate them.

Pirate Tilda take two

Hi everyone and another cute pirate Tilda from me today, I'm trying to use these stamps that I've had a for a while but not had time for so far. Tilda is a bit swarthy :D as I stamped her and the barrel background on kraft card and coloured with prisma pencils. I;ve added some shell beads, pearl pens, glitter liner and a doodlebug rub on to decorate. The edges of the scene are sponged with white ink and around of the base of the card in blue chalk ink.

I'm entering into Magnolia Down Under where the theme is an easel card
ABC Challenge with a theme of August
Cute Card Thursday and a theme of Whateva.
The Pink Elephant has a theme of Summer Fun.
All of these challenges have superb inspiration from the designers, I almost forgot I was meant to be entering :D.

Thanks as always for your lovely comments and have a good week.

Longing Tilda

Hi everyone, hope you've had a good week so far. Here's longing Tilda.....longing for froggy to turn into a prince no doubt :D and I've given her a castle tower to long from also using the castle window stamp. Everything is water coloured with distress inks, stickled and I've added glass glitter and stickles to the turret scallops and glossy accents and some glass glitter on the frog prince. The flag at the top of the tower is attached to a pin with a large head that's been glittered and stuck through the scallops at the back (these were cut on the cricut as was the blank that I've used to get the tower shape). Hope you're enjoying your Spring stamp kit if you got them too.

Thanks as always for your lovely comments, they're very much appreciated.

I'm entering the Just Magnolia challenge this week as it's anything goes.
