Magworts School of Wizardry

Hi everyone, hope you're having a lovely Saturday so far!

A Magnolia faux book to share today and using Magnolia stamps to create Magworts School of Wizardry and I enjoyed bringing these two Edwin's and Tilda into my Potteresque scene :D. This is the most stamps I've ever masked together, twelve were used in all, so it took some working out to get the order of the layers of masking and stamping.

The book is an SVG Cuts cutting file, the star tag and black lace at the bottom are Magnolia DooHickey dies, the black title letters are a Tim Holtz strip die cut and sentiments were computer generated. Everything is watercoloured on the scene with distress ink markers, watercolour markers and crayons.

To get a nice even black colour on negative stamps such as the Magnolia skyline houses at the top of the scene and when stamping onto watercolour paper, I stamp and then go over any mottled or not quite black enough areas with a black permanent pen.

I'm entering my project in the Tilda's Town challenge where this week the theme is 'back to school'.

Oh my goodness - 12 images masked! No wonder you need a vacation. This is brilliant! Anyone who knows and loves Sir Harry would love to have this masterpiece. The recipe for your card --- well --- first you have to have the imagination, then the skill and talent to accomplish to color and put it together. Then all you need is the $1,589.22 for the stamps, inks, crayons, dies, water colour markers,
die cut machine, paper and what ever an SVG is. Hmmmmmm - makes you realize just how valuable this faux book is!!!!!!
