Hi everyone, hope the week is off to a good start for you. I'm joining in the challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show which I always look forward to on Monday and this week the theme is 'Embrace the old'. I think there are many interpretations of this as you'll see on their blog and I've gone with making something look old which is the rust background on my tag.
The rust is real using a two part product of a paint and a rusting solution and I've covered the whole tag with this and then stamped over it with a Crafty Individuals leaf stamp. I've added a Memory box die cut tree, lace, flowers, a Tim Holtz reinforcer and chit chat sticker, pearl pen dots, black and white paint doodled dots and finally the main image which is a gorgeous Crafty Individuals stamp which I've stamped onto glossy paper with black Archival ink and then coloured with distress markers.
