Craft Stamper Magazine Blog Challenge

Hi everyone and today I have a card to share which I've made as part of the challenge on the Craft Stamper Magazine blog. The challenge is featuring a technique in the new March issue by Jo Allison and an absolutely gorgeous one it is too. The challenge is open to all and will last for two months so I hope you'll pop over to Craft Stamper blog for the info and to see all the fantastic creations of the design team.

My card is cut with a Sizzix Tim Holtz Cabinet Card Die from water colour paper and for the card base I used Jo's airbrushing technique through a Butterfly Flight stencil by Imagination Crafts. The front panel cut with the Movers and Shapers mini cabinet card die is inked through the largest butterfly in the stencil and then sponged with the distress inks. I stamped over the sponging using the same colour inks with stamps from Kaisercraft and Tim Holtz then edged everything with gold relief paste. I sponged extra butterflies through the stencil and cut these out to add on top of the centre panel and I also dyed some seam binding with the inks and used the pearl pens to make the butterfly centres. The centre panel is raised up slightly on some foam tape.
