Hi everyone hope you had a good Saturday and I'm popping on late with my last minute entry for Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge of Shabby Chic.
I've made a tag, coloured the background with Ranger Distress Paint in Victorian Velvet, Peeled Paint, Weathered Wood and picket Fence then stamped over it in shaded lilac distress ink using stamps from the Blueprints 3 set.
The sentiment is from another Tim Holtz set and is stamped in Walnut Stain Distress paint over a background of swiped Victorian Velvet. I made all the flowers from the Tattered Florals and Tattered Garland dies and lightweight paper that I coloured with distress inks, then I cut a couple of leaves also coloured with distress ink. After adding pearl pen centres to the flowers I attached everything to the tag, coloured some seam binding with Mustard Seed Distress paint to go through the top and I embossed around the edges of the tag, the sentiment and here and there over the rest of it with Stapendous Aged Green embossing powder.

Hi Chris! Your shabby chic tag is so pretty. I love the background and the grid pattern you have going on it. You did a wonderful job of blending and stamping with the new Distress Paints. I love their matte finish when they dry! I also love that Tim sentiment that you've added to your tag. Your flowers are so colorful and pretty!
