Paperbabe Stamps Challenge 36 - Anything Goes

Hi everyone Challenge 36 Anything Goes is now up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog and I hope you'll be able to join us. There's a lovely prize from Kim as always and great inspiration from my team mates.

I made an ATC using the Adorimals, High in the sky and Kawaii Face stamp sets, I love these little Kawaii animals the variations are endless and I always feel comp,Evelyn happy when I'm working with this set, can't ask for more than that!

I've coloured with pencils and cut my little Adorimals out and then created an embossed background coloured with distress stains and inks.

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge 14 - Anything Goes

Hi everyone, hope you've had a good week and a bit if sunshine wherever you are. Challenge 14 at Paperbabe Stamps Blog starts today with an 'Anything Goes' theme. We hope you can join us and you don't have to use Paperbabe Stamps if you don't have them yet.

I've enjoyed making some little ATC sized Children's affirmation cards with the cute Adorimal digi stamps and the Kawaii face stamps. I really like them at this size and they might be useful for the teachers in my family when I get to make more of them.

I coloured them with alcohol markers and a clear W ink of Stella pen, cut them out and then attached them to the ATC which is embossed and then coloured with gelato watercolour sticks. They're finished with words from a Tim Holtz sticker quotes pad outlined with a stabile all pencil and doodled dots of black pen and yellow paint pen.

Twelve Tags of 2013 - ATC 3 March

Hi everyone, if you celebrate Easter I wish you a very happy one and hope you have a good long weekend. I'm joining in at the last minute with Tim's twelve tags of 2013 with my March ATC and I've gone with an Easter theme and improvised with what I had and for the size of the ATC versus a tag.

I used distress paints for the background and followed along with Tim's techniques for the tinsel with the heating and die cutting a shape within a shape using Dies to create my version of an egg shape. I also followed along with the metal foliage, painting it
with distress paints. My grass border is a double layer of Kraft core core'dinations card cut into with scissors to make the grass and I added a twine bow instead of ribbon and a handwritten and cut word strip as my seasonal chit chat stickes have gon AWOL! Once again I thoroughly enjoyed improvising to make my ATC work as much as I could.

Enjoy your day and I'm back later with the Alpha challenge next letter.

Kadoodle Zack ATC

My first ever ATC made for an SCS challenge to use a stained glass technique.

I stamped on acetate with stayzon ink, coloured his body with a Sakura white glaze pen and his spots with a black permanent marker. A piece of white card was covered with Pink Petticoat black spot paper, stamped with Elzybells paw print stamp and sponged with Black Soot distress ink. I cut an oblong window from this and mounted the acetate on the back.
The star is cut with a sizzix die and the edges sponged with the black soot. I wrote the Z with a red pen and glazed over with a colourless glitter pen, did the same with the sentiment stamp.

Added red gems to finish. TFL.
