Hi everyone, I'm back again with my next sample for the PaperBabe Stamps August Release and today we have the digi version of MayLeeDee Kimono to showcase! Having another opportunity to colour her was great, I love her and I loved giving myself a challenge too by printing her out onto parchment paper! The end result is a bit bumpy and undulating where I've used some watercolour but I think it adds to the look and I don't mind it. I've coloured as I said with watercolour, distress markers this time and I've also added some pencil. For the background I stamped the Lotus Peony from the Oriental Zen set in mustard coloured ink and then filled in the petals with some Sakura glaze pens which give a pretty enamel look. There is an under sheet of parchment too and that's also been stamped all over with the Lotus Peony flower in grey ink and it gives a little extra interest where it shows through the upper layer slightly in places.
I used a Marabu Gold Relief Pen for the dots and for the pattern on the fan and her robe tie, it adds a bit of texture which I like.
