A Hanglar cutie

Hi everyone, hope your week is going well so far. A card today for the Sketch Saturday Challenge and a sketch that I enjoyed working with and also for the Creative Card Crew with a theme of sparkle and shine. The Hanglar cutie is coloured with distress inks, cut out and mounted on the background with gel glue. The papers are BasicGrey Sugar Rush and bottom piece edged with stickles. There's some doodling, faux stitching, a Websters pages calendar page, sparkly ribbon, pearl pen and a flower made from punched flower pieces. Thanks as always for your lovely comments.

Hi everyone, hope you’re having a lovely Sunday! Here’s a card I made yesterday at the Craft Barn and just had to finish off at home today. The cute as can be House Mouse stamp ‘Mint Tea’ is water coloured with distress inks and I added the Mothers Day sentiment, lots of stickles for the steam and some gems to the image then matted it onto Wisteria bazzil card. The background paper is from the BasicGrey Wisteria collection, the punched edge is an MS border punch ‘embossed zig-zag’ and I finished off with a pretty ribbon.
Hello to Fiona, Julie and Sharon, it was lovely to see you yesterday and Fiona, they’re all gone ;D!!
I’m entering my card into these challenges:
Simon Says Stamp ‘Mothers Day’
Creative Card Crew  ‘It’s a celebration’
My time to craft ‘Just for Mum’
TFL and have a nice evening.

Crafty Cardmakers challenge

Hi everyone, hope your weekend is off to a good start. I’ve made a card for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge which is a challenge I’ve only just found. This time the challenge is to just have some stamping on your card with the optional extra of using a stamping technique you haven’t used before or some paper piecing, resist etc.

I’ve used this cute Motivet stamp from the new Christmas collection available at the Craft Barn and coloured it with copics then added stickles and some doodling and cut out with a circle nestability. I’ve cut some BasicGrey Eskimo Kisses paper for the scalloped circle and matting layer underneith and I’ve embossed a piece of whitewashed Core’dinations card using a Crafts Too stars embossing folder which I’ve then sanded and also coloured in some of the stars. I suppose my option is that I’ve used paper with pinky colours in it for a Christmas card, I usually tend to go for more traditional Christmas colours but I really like these in the Eskimo Kisses collection that have a lot of pinks. I’ve added more doodling around the edges, some red tulle and a craftwork cards sentiment. TFL.
