Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good weekend. I had a lovely day out with a friend in Brighton yesterday and took in a painting launch at article in the lanes of Craig Alan's work, it was interesting to hear about his process and all that he does before he even starts on a canvas, there was pink fizz too but I still couldn't afford the price tags of course :-).
Once a month at the Craft Barn we have Christmas Club day where some lovely ladies join me to get a head start on everything Christmas. We make cards and also items to give as gifts etc., we also have a good laugh and quite often yummy cakes.
Last Monday Brusho paints were the colour ingredient for the day and we used them for the backgrounds of this lovely little paper mâché book set together with some stamping (Kaisercraft stamps) and and highlights of white pen and glossy accents.
The card this time was a shaker style card with gorgeous Cosmic Shimmer glitter jewels inside. Again we used the Brusho paints for the background, stamping this time with Woodware stamps and some stencilling on the top layer with a Tim Holtz stencil.
Enjoy your Sunday,
Chris x

The Brusho books are just gorgeous - must find time to experiment (though I've already missed the bandwagon by quite some way!!) - lovely makes.
